Because we threatened to press charges against the company in liquidation we were able to salvage a small amount of the outstanding sum. Still we ended up with a loss of thousands of Rands. Stay away from any of the mentioned businesses and persons if you want to save your money and a lot of hassles.

Hi guys,
I see that you are driving a Twende vehicle. We've been driving a Twende car for 3 months now and were due to return it yesterday. But when we got to their office, it was completely empty. Their neighbor told us that they have moved out. Neither Minette nor Cliff nor Claudia answer their phones, though we talked to Cliff on Thursday and he didn't mention anything about moving and said they will be waiting for us. I found many adds on internet with cliff's phone number selling cars for cash because he needs money urgently. We are talking to the police and will go to a lawyer on Monday. Have you heard from them recently? Please contact us so we can go after them together.

Hey Guys!!!
Nice to hear from you on our blog and great to see you're still having a great time (although working life starts pretty soon, right? We're very sorry by the way) Seeing your pictures makes us really looking forward to visit Mozambique and Malawi (we're still in South Africa, taking it easy)
We hope you will enjoy the last part of your journey as much as the rest of it. It was fun hanging out with you in the Delta!

Take care, good luck with your careers and the best of wishes from Viktor and Esther

We got your website from two South African motorcyclists that we assisted pulling on of their bikes in Spitzkoppe about a month ago. Your trip sounds very exciting and is much like ours. We are now in Livingstone and being a bit behind you on schedule we will look forward to read and be inspired by your blogs along the way. We are flying out of CT on Dec 14. So far we have experienced very similar problems as you coming up from CT.

br, Christian

Howzit guys

Enjoy the ride, hope you guys have God Speed and enjoy every moment of the trip. Pierre and myself managed to get all the way to Sossusvlei with our bikes, it was a missiona and a half, but really enjoyed it.
Also did a multi pitch of the 1 we saw from reception the day we met, it was scary, had a hard time to try get a route down.

Bid julle het 'n lekker tyd - Pray you guys have a great time

Regards

what can I say.. wanna join big time!
checked out you map... I'm sure you've done heavy research but two quick RSA tips on the way home. Zululand is pretty rough but beautiful, especially kosi bay far north east on the coast. Here you can see green mambas and huge turtles.
In the region Transkei, you can see how the apartheid regime fucked Mandelas Xhosa people. Tribal villages, rolling hills and no private ownership. In Coffe Bay there's a nice backpackers I visited 5 yrs back, with surfboards, fresh cheap lobsters, and cool sundowners.
